Magnetics designed with the converter, not after it.
Ramanuja Power Systems designs and prototypes custom planar and high-frequency magnetics for GaN and SiC power converters — built around your converter's resonant behaviour, not pulled off a catalog shelf.
A design house for the part everyone else treats as an afterthought
Standard toroidal and EE-core transformers are well served in India already. Planar and MHz-class magnetics for GaN/SiC converters are not — and that gap is where we work.
Custom planar & high-frequency magnetics
Transformers and coupled inductors modelled against your converter's topology, frequency, and thermal limits — not selected from a parts list.
GaN/SiC converter redesign
We take proven reference architectures — totem-pole PFC, LLC resonant stages — and redesign the magnetics for your voltage, power, and footprint.
Fast, low-capex builds
Planar construction means windings are PCB layers, not hand-wound coils — your first sample comes from a fab run, not a tooling investment.
Measured, not assumed
Leakage inductance, AC resistance, and thermal rise characterised on the bench, under real switching conditions — before you commit to a design.
In a resonant converter, the transformer isn't a passive part
In an LLC resonant converter, the transformer's own leakage inductance is the resonant inductor — not a parasitic to be minimised, but a value that has to be designed and held to tolerance.
That means the winding structure and the converter's operating point are one decision, not two. A shop that winds to a print can hit a turns ratio. It can't tell you what your leakage inductance does to your ZVS range.
That's the difference between a winding vendor and a magnetics design partner — and it's the entire reason this company exists.

From converter requirement to validated sample
Design
Model the magnetics requirement against your topology, frequency, and thermal budget.
Prototype
PCB-fabricated planar samples built and assembled for first bench evaluation.
Validate
Characterised under real switching conditions — not just against a datasheet.
Deliver
Small-batch production as your design stabilises and volumes justify it.
Founded on two decades of firmware and power electronics practice
Ramanuja Power Systems is founded by Bhanu Prakash Bheemaneni, who spent over 18 years in power-electronics firmware and embedded product development, including project leadership on power-electronics teams, before starting this company.
Based in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu — a city with a deep manufacturing and precision-engineering base — Ramanuja Power Systems works directly with OEMs on magnetics that are designed alongside the converter, not after it.
